The President of the Indian Economic Trade Organization Dr..Asif Iqbal met the Governor.of.Central Bank of Samoa Ms. Atalina Ainuu-Enari on the sidelines of the Commonwealth meeting in Samoa. The central bank issues the Samoan currency the Samoan taka as well as regulates and manages the exchange rate with foreign currencies. In its role as the central bank for the government.and the country, it is also responsible for the registration and supervision of.commercial banks. She has been.the governor.since 2011.

The bank is engaged in developing policies to provide support to new enterprises like financial products that serves.members of samoa society.
